Quality Assurance Specialist

About Gymreapers

Gymreapers is a fast-growing fitness accessories and apparel brand built for athletes who take their training seriously. We develop, source, manufacture, import, and sell products across DTC, Amazon, wholesale, and international markets. As the business scales, we're building the infrastructure to match. This role is part of that build.

The Role

We're looking for a Quality Specialist to support supplier quality management across our global manufacturing network. You'll be the primary owner of supplier quality visibility and performance reporting, working closely with Supplier Operations, Product Development, Compliance, and Strategic Sourcing to make sure products are built to spec before they reach our customers.

This isn't a passive quality role. You'll be in the data, running inspections, driving corrective actions, and following issues through to resolution. The work is analytical, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.

This role is based on-site in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.

What You'll Own

• Coordinating incoming, in-process, and pre-shipment inspection activities and monitoring results for trends
• Supporting supplier and factory audit programs, documenting findings, and tracking corrective action follow-through
• Managing CAPA tracking from supplier response through verified completion
• Supporting root cause investigations on quality failures and recurring issues
• Building and maintaining supplier quality scorecards, dashboards, and performance reports
• Verifying supplier adherence to approved specifications, materials, and workmanship standards
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers and identifying opportunities to prevent issues upstream
• Partnering with Product Development, Sourcing, Compliance, and Supply Planning when quality issues affect product or supply

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, or manufacturing quality. You know how to run an inspection, work through a root cause analysis, and maintain quality records without letting things fall through the cracks.

Experience with AQL inspection standards, CAPA methodologies, or international supplier quality programs is a plus. So is a background in consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce.

You should be someone who sees a recurring defect and immediately wants to understand why, not someone who logs it and moves on.

Traits That Fit Here

We operate with Extreme Ownership as a core value. In this role that means you follow quality issues all the way to resolution, not just to escalation. You're organized enough to manage multiple suppliers and inspection cycles simultaneously, analytical enough to spot trends before they become problems, and clear enough in your communication to get cross-functional teams aligned when something needs to change.

A few quick questions before you close this tab: Do you have hands-on experience with inspections or supplier audits? Are you comfortable sitting in data and building reports that actually get used? Do you follow problems through to the fix rather than handing them off?

If yes, we'd like to hear from you.
