Quality Assurance Manager

Harbour Industries LLC

As a part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings—which is backed by Berkshire Hathaway—you’ll be doing things that matter, leading at every level, and winning a better way. We’re committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’s empowered to be their best.

The Quality Manager is responsible for the leadership, development, implementation, and continual improvement of the Company's Quality Management System (QMS). This position ensures compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements while promoting a culture of quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Working collaboratively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, and Supply Chain, the Quality Manager provides technical leadership and quality expertise to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and manufacturing performance. This position is responsible for managing the Quality Assurance Department, overseeing inspection activities, driving corrective actions, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring that quality objectives align with the Company's strategic goals.

Build Quality. Solve Problems. Drive Improvement.

We believe quality is more than inspections and audits—it's about partnering with every department to build better processes, better products, and better outcomes for our customers.

We're looking for a collaborative Quality Manager who enjoys solving complex business challenges, building relationships across the organization, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to drive business results. If you're someone who sees quality as a competitive advantage—not just a compliance function—we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

As our Quality Manager, you'll lead our AS9100D/ISO 9001 Quality Management System while working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading and continuously improving our Quality Management System (AS9100D/ISO 9001).
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve business performance.
• Coaching and developing a quality-focused culture throughout the organization.
• Leading internal and external audits while maintaining certification requirements.
• Driving root cause investigations and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• Using data and metrics to identify trends and improve manufacturing performance.
• Collaborating with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and strengthen partnerships.
• Supporting new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements.
• Leading a team of quality professionals while developing future talent.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in someone who is curious, approachable, and enjoys working with people just as much as working with processes.

You'll likely have:

• Experience leading Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of AS9100D and/or ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, or Lean methodologies.
• The ability to influence without creating barriers—someone who builds trust across departments.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for making things work better.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience leading audits, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience is preferred.

What Makes Someone Successful Here?

You ask questions before giving answers.

You enjoy bringing people together to solve problems.

You see quality as a business partner, not a gatekeeper.

You believe the best solutions come from collaboration between Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Quality.

You use data to make decisions but understand that relationships drive lasting improvement.

Most importantly, you're energized by helping an organization become better every day.

Why Work with Us?

You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our products, our customers, and our people. You'll work with an experienced leadership team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

If you're looking for a role where your expertise is respected, your ideas are welcomed, and your leadership can shape the future of our business, we'd love to hear from you.
