You will be instrumental in helping the organisation make informed, evidence-based decisions by turning quality, assurance and risk information into meaningful insight. Through the analysis of trends, performance information, assurance findings and emerging risks, you will identify opportunities for improvement, provide constructive challenge and support leaders to strengthen services and outcomes for residents.

A key part of the role is maintaining the integrity, independence and credibility of the assurance function through a fair, transparent and evidence-led approach.

About You

We are looking for an experienced assurance professional who combines strong technical expertise with credibility, sound judgement and a collaborative leadership style.

You will understand that effective assurance is not about finding fault. It is about providing independent insight, constructive challenge and evidence-based assurance that helps the organisation improve.

You will bring:

* Experience working in a regulated environment with responsibility for quality assurance, governance, compliance or audit.

* Proven management experience within quality assurance, audit, governance, service improvement or a related discipline.

* Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, ideally within housing, social care or a similarly regulated sector.

* Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate findings into meaningful recommendations.

* Experience leading audits, investigations, reviews and organisational learning activities.

* Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence and challenge constructively at all levels.

* A commitment to fairness, transparency and evidence-based decision making.
