QA Engineer (Remote)

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a QA Engineer for a full-time role to design, execute, and maintain test plans ensuring software quality across products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects and verify fixes.

You'll develop automated tests using frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG, perform manual testing, track defects with Jira or Bugzilla, and contribute to the SDLC under Agile/Scrum practices.

Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for software applications, including manual and automated testing. Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking systems. Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, ensuring timely defect resolution. Analyze test results to evaluate software performance and recommend improvements. Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium/JUnit/TestNG. Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and defect tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Ability to write clear, concise, and detailed test documentation and reports.
