Skills and Experience

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical qualification
• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in backend software development
• Proven production experience building and maintaining applications with Python and Django

Required technologies

• Proven expertise in Python with strong programming fundamentals and object‑oriented design
• Production‑level experience with Django and Django REST Framework
• Expert‑level understanding of RESTful API design and backend service architecture
• SQL and relational database fundamentals
• Git and standard software development practices

Nice to have

• Experience with Django REST Framework
• Cloud, CI/CD or DevOps exposure
• Docker and containerisation
• Automated testing and test‑driven development
