Backend engineer placement (via recruiter Vertus Partners) with a leading bank for a large-scale AI project: designing and building scalable API, microservices, and event-driven services in Java/Python/Node.js on GCP and Kubernetes, alongside AI, data, and security teams.
We're currently working on a range of exciting opportunities for Java/Python/Node.js Backend Engineers to join a leading bank during a large scale AI project.
You'll be involved in the entire lifecycle from design/architecture and develop scalable backend services with a strong focus on APIs, microservices and event-driven architecture. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Security teams to build solutions that support AI and wider enterprise initiatives.

Requirements
- Microservices-based architecture experience
- Understanding of Java
- Experience with GCP
- Ideally have experience with AI Agent Orchestration Platforms
- Experience with Kubernetes and Container Technologies
