Job Description
The client is looking for a developer whose work consists of using the APIs of its vulnerability tools to connect them to each other and to the company's other security tools. Python is the main language and the mandate mentions no other technology.
- The automation component using other security tools is presented as a possibility, therefore secondary to the core of the role.
- The 3 to 5 year range places the position at an intermediate level.
- The mandate names no specific vulnerability tool, which leaves open the question of prior experience expected with this type of tool.
- Target candidate: a Python developer with 3 to 5 years of experience who has already built API integrations between security tools, ideally around vulnerability management. The expected deliverable is integration and automation code, not tool operation or vulnerability analysis.
