We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead project planning, execution, and delivery activities while ensuring compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, drive process improvements, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and close-out of assigned projects.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, quality standards, budget constraints, and contractual requirements.
Assist Technical Managers and Engineering Specialists with the planning and design of rig-specific interface initiatives.
Select appropriate tools, equipment, and technical solutions based on customer requirements and applications.
Prepare project reports, performance updates, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution and operational efficiency.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior engineers and project personnel.
Support cross-functional teams in resolving technical and operational challenges.
Promote best practices and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future project activities.
Compliance, Quality & HSE
Ensure full compliance with Weatherford's Management System, Quality Standards, HSE policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Champion a strong safety culture by placing Health, Safety, Security, Environmental Protection, and Quality as top priorities.
Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
Support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement in safety performance and operational excellence.
Demonstrate visible safety leadership and ensure safe working practices for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
Clearly communicate project objectives, expectations, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
Provide regular updates on project status, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
Financial Management
Monitor project costs and resource utilization to ensure expenditure remains within approved budgets.
Ensure all financial transactions and project costs are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency while maintaining quality and service delivery standards.
People Development
Support the development of team members through coaching, training, and performance management.
Participate in succession planning, talent assessments, and employee development initiatives.
Work collaboratively with HR and Training teams to support recruitment, retention, and workforce development strategies.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Knowledge of rig operations and field execution activities.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline with 4-6 years of relevant experience; or
Master's Degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience; or
Doctorate/Postgraduate Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience; or
Equivalent combination of education and significant industry experience (Qualified by Experience).

Willingness to travel up to 10-20% as required.
Work Environment
Work Schedule: Standard business hours.
Work Location: Office-based with occasional field/site visits.
