Project Manager

Project Manager – IT, Operations & Compliance

Location: Newcastle (NE12 8BU)
Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)

About the Role

Verisure are looking for a motivated and proactive Project Manager to lead a varied portfolio of projects across IT, Operations and Compliance.

This is a highly business-facing role where you’ll act as the connector between teams — ensuring projects are delivered, stakeholders are aligned, and actions don’t get lost along the way.

You’ll work across fast-moving initiatives, from technology change and operational improvements through to compliance and audit activity, helping the business deliver on both strategic and regulatory commitments.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and working across multiple areas of a business rather than sitting in a single function.

About Verisure

Verisure is the No.1 global leader in professionally monitored security, protecting around 6.2 million families and small businesses worldwide.

We operate as the market leader in 14 of the 18 countries we are present in, and our growth is built on a clear focus: protecting what matters most through innovation, service quality and operational excellence.

Every part of the business contributes to that mission, from front-line teams speaking with customers, to operational and technical teams ensuring systems, compliance and delivery run smoothly.

This role sits within that wider mission, helping ensure the business continues to deliver high-quality, secure and reliable services at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and coordinate IT, operational and business change projects from initiation through to delivery
• Act as the key link between IT, Operations, Compliance and wider business teams
• Drive progress by removing blockers, chasing actions, and keeping workstreams on track
• Support the delivery of IT deployments and system changes across the business
• Manage operational improvement projects across multiple departments
• Coordinate audit and certification activity (e.g. ISO 9001), ensuring evidence and actions are completed on time
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and decisions
• Organise and facilitate cross-functional meetings and project activity
• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across processes and delivery

What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for someone who is only strong in one area — we’re looking for someone who can operate across all three:

• IT / technology projects and business change
• Operational delivery and cross-team coordination
• Compliance, audits and certification processes

You’ll likely have experience in project coordination or project management, but what matters most is your ability to keep things moving, influence people, and deliver outcomes.

The Kind of Person Who Will Succeed Here

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities at once
• Confident working with different teams and personalities
• Strong communicator who can influence without authority
• Proactive, doesn’t wait for things to happen, drives them forward
• Detail-focused and reliable in following through on actions
• Curious and willing to challenge and improve existing processes
• Motivated by personal goals, progression, and ownership (has a clear “why”)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment

Why This Role?

• Up to £50,000 salary (DOE)
• Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)
• Exposure across IT, Operations and Compliance - not just one function
• Wide variety of projects, from small operational changes to large initiatives
• Real ownership and visibility with senior leadership
• Opportunity to shape how projects are delivered across the business
• Clear progression opportunities into senior project or operational leadership roles
• Strong focus on internal development and promotion

Career Progression

This role offers genuine development into more senior positions within Operations and Project Leadership for the right individual.

You’ll gain exposure across multiple business areas and develop into a key figure within how change is delivered across the organisation.

Final Note

This is a business-facing Project Manager role where success is defined not just by delivering projects, but by bringing people together, maintaining momentum, and making sure things actually get done.

We’re looking for someone who wants to step into a visible, influential role across IT, Operations and Compliance and grow with the business long term.
