Project Manager - Technology & Transformation

At Pioneer Credit, we’re passionate about helping Australians move forward financially. Behind that purpose is a significant technology transformation program changing the systems, platforms and capabilities that support our people and customers.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to help us deliver it.

You’ll be working across a varied portfolio. From AI-enabled solutions and contact centre technology through to enterprise system replacement, digital capability and operational transformation.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys taking complex initiatives, creating clarity around what needs to happen and bringing business, technology and vendors together to make it happen.

What you'll be doing

As our Project Manager, you’ll:

• Lead technology and transformation projects from planning through implementation and transition to BAU.

• Turn complex initiatives into clear delivery plans, milestones, priorities and accountabilities.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across business, technology and external partners.

• Drive decisions, resolve blockers and keep delivery moving.

• Manage budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities.

• Keep sponsors and senior stakeholders clear on progress, decisions and what needs attention.

• Coordinate testing, implementation, cutover and operational readiness.

• Apply practical delivery discipline while adapting the approach to suit the project and environment.

What you'll bring

We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting into the substance of a project. Understanding what we’re trying to achieve, how the pieces fit together and what needs to happen to get it delivered.

• Experience delivering complex technology, systems or digital transformation projects.

• Strong end-to-end project delivery capability.

• Experience with enterprise platforms, system implementations, integrations, data or significant business change.

• Strong stakeholder and vendor management capability.

• Confidence managing risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities.

• The ability to bring structure and momentum to complex or evolving environments.

• Experience working across agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches.

• Strong communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with AI, enterprise SaaS, CCaaS/contact centre, collections or workflow platforms would be highly regarded.

• Financial services or other complex operational environments is desirable.

Why join Pioneer?

There’s a lot happening. You’ll be joining at a time when we’re replacing and evolving core platforms, introducing new digital and AI capabilities and rethinking how technology supports our operations.

That means:

• Interesting, meaningful technology work rather than a single narrow project.

• Exposure across both business and technology.

• The opportunity to influence how solutions are delivered, not simply administer the plan.

• Variety across platforms, projects and transformation initiatives.

• A collaborative team and a modern Perth CBD office close to public transport, cafes and amenities.

If you’re a Project Manager who likes getting beyond the project plan, bringing people together and seeing complex technology initiatives turn into real outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.
