Project manager TDFE and Battlelabb/DCS

Want to influence the bigger picture? At Saab, you can realise amazing innovations that keep people and societies safe. Together, we can truly make an impact – and your part matters.

Your Role

Do you want to lead the development of next-generation command and control systems and contribute to solutions that are critical to future defence capabilities?

As the tactical operating environment becomes increasingly complex, the need for advanced command and control systems continues to grow. We develop solutions that collect, process, analyse, and visualise large amounts of information in real time, enabling informed decisions in demanding operational environments.

We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead some of our most strategically important development projects. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering advanced command and control solutions by leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating closely with customers, users, and key stakeholders.

You will manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, balancing technology, business objectives, and customer needs while ensuring delivery with the right quality, cost, schedule, and risk management. Working alongside systems engineers, software developers, architects, and domain experts, you will play a key role in shaping future defence capabilities.

We see AI-enabled tools and modern ways of working as important enablers for improving efficiency and quality. You will contribute to the development of effective project practices while ensuring that decisions are grounded in operational, technical, and security considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex development projects within advanced command and control systems from initiation to delivery
• Be accountable for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ensure effective collaboration between customers, users, and development teams
• Manage priorities, dependencies, and risks across projects and programmes
• Contribute to strategic planning, business development, and portfolio management
• Mentor colleagues and support the continuous improvement of project methodologies and ways of working

The position is based in Solna.
