Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is a world-leading design, engineering and project management organisation, connecting people, data and technology to deliver projects that create lasting value for our clients, communities and society.

Join our Project Delivery Practice (PDP) – AtkinsRéalis' centre of excellence for project and programme management. Home to one of the UK's largest communities of project professionals, PDP delivers projects across Defence, Nuclear, Water, Energy, Transport, Aviation and Infrastructure. Continued growth in our Defence and Water markets across Cumbria and the North West has driven the requirement to strengthen our team within this region.

As a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager within PDP, you'll lead the delivery of projects and critical work packages that help our clients achieve their strategic objectives. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams of experienced project professionals, you'll apply your expertise while broadening your experience across different sectors and delivery environments.

As part of our growing North, Scotland and Northern Ireland team, you'll play a key role in delivering successful outcomes across some of the UK's most complex and challenging programmes. We offer a collaborative and supportive environment where learning, development, career progression and flexible working are actively encouraged.

If you're looking to further develop your project management expertise whilst delivering complex and rewarding projects that make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

PDP offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects whilst developing your career within one of the UK's largest project management communities. You'll benefit from structured development, mentoring, leadership programmes and support towards professional qualifications and accreditation.

As an APM Corporate Partner, AtkinsRéalis actively supports project professionals working towards Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) and other recognised professional qualifications. Whether you're looking to broaden your sector experience, achieve chartership, or progress into senior management and leadership roles, PDP provides clear career pathways and structured support to help you achieve your ambitions.

Most importantly, you'll be joining a community of professionals delivering nationally significant programmes and critical infrastructure projects that make a real difference. Hear from some of our employees here.

• Monitor and report project performance against delivery, financial, quality and KPI measures, providing clear insight to clients and leadership teams.
• Support the development of others through mentoring, coaching and sharing best practice across the Practice, while demonstrating AtkinsRéalis values of Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation and Excellence.
