ControlUp is a leader in Digital Employee Experience (DEX), evolving IT operations with agentic AI to deliver Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) and a digital workspace that runs itself.
Our platform transforms millions of real-time signals into intelligent action, bridging the gap between deep visibility and automated remediation. We turn "IT headaches" and employee frustration into self-healing operations, allowing organizations to move beyond reactive troubleshooting toward a future where technology works seamlessly in the background.
We’re here to ensure the workday runs without disruptions. No tool sprawl, no wasted time, and no friction. Just technology that works for people, not against them, so they can stay focused on what they do best.
One platform. One powerful shift in how work flows.
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Product & R&D Operations team and help drive some of our most strategic and complex initiatives.
You will lead a high-visibility, cross-company program involving Product, R&D, Security, IT, Legal, and other business stakeholders. Your role will be to bring structure and clarity to the program, build and maintain the execution plan, manage dependencies and risks, and keep stakeholders aligned around shared milestones.
Alongside this key program, you will lead additional projects and help improve operational processes across Product and R&D.
You don’t need to be a technical or security expert. We’re looking for someone who is curious, learns quickly, asks the right questions, and feels comfortable facilitating conversations between subject-matter experts.
What You’ll Own:
-
Lead Complex Cross-Functional Programs: Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decision-making processes.
-
Drive Product & R&D Initiatives: Lead strategic projects involving Product, Engineering, and other business functions.
-
Create Structure and Momentum: Turn broad goals and complex requirements into clear workstreams, ownership, deliverables, and next steps.
-
Coordinate Diverse Stakeholders: Bring together technical and non-technical teams, facilitate productive conversations, and ensure everyone remains aligned.
-
Track Risks and Dependencies: Proactively identify blockers and gaps, coordinate mitigation plans, and escalate issues when needed.
-
Provide Clear Visibility: Deliver concise updates on progress, decisions, risks, and upcoming milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
-
Improve Processes: Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, strengthen cross-team collaboration, and introduce scalable ways of working.
-
Use AI to Support Execution: Apply AI tools to help create and maintain roadmaps, project plans, Gantt charts, status updates, meeting summaries, and workflow automations.
-
Drive Follow-Through: Ensure that decisions and action items are documented, assigned, and completed.
What You’ll Bring:
- 4+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
-
Experience leading projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders with different priorities.
-
Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
-
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
-
The confidence to participate in technical conversations, ask clarifying questions, and translate discussions into actionable plans.
-
A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to create structure when requirements are still evolving.
-
Strong learning agility and curiosity, with an interest in understanding new products, technologies, and business areas.
-
Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities may change.
-
Experience with project-management or R&D tools such as Linear, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
-
Experience using AI tools—or a strong interest in using them—to improve planning, communication, and execution.
-
Experience working closely with Product and R&D teams.
-
Exposure to complex organizational, operational, security, or compliance-related projects.
-
Experience coordinating external partners, consultants, or vendors.
-
Experience within Product Operations, R&D Operations, a PMO, or a similar cross-functional function.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
-
Lead strategic, high-visibility initiatives across Product and R&D.
-
Work closely with teams and leaders from across the organization.
-
Bring structure and momentum to projects that have meaningful company impact.
-
Help shape how strategic programs are managed across Product and R&D.
-
Introduce modern, AI-enabled approaches to project planning and execution.
Why You’ll Love It Here:
- Global, Not Isolated: You’ll work with a diverse team spanning the US, EMEA, and Israel. We’re known for our vibrant social culture, and once a year, the entire global company comes together for a major offsite to reconnect in person.
- Meaningful Impact: Make a real impact from day one, working with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Collaborative & Growth-Driven: Join a collaborative, empowering culture where learning and professional growth are encouraged.
- True Flexibility: We offer a hybrid model. We care about the output of your expertise, not the hours you spend in a specific chair.
