BUILDER WANTED. Project Manager

Not just a Project Manager. A Builder.

You build more than projects. You build teams, client confidence, solutions, and the path forward when the work gets complicated.

At SSRG, Project Managers take ownership of high-impact structural and specialty construction projects from kickoff through closeout. You bring together field teams, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients around a clear plan—and then lead the team in delivering it safely, successfully, and profitably.

This is a role for an experienced construction leader who can see the big picture without losing sight of the details. Someone who plans ahead, solves problems, develops people, and takes ownership of the outcome.

A Legacy of Building Careers

At SSRG, we tackle complex projects and solve challenges others avoid. We believe exceptional work comes from exceptional people—people who take pride in their craft, support their teammates, and care about the quality of what they leave behind.

We know our employees have lives beyond the jobsite, and we value the balance between working hard and living well. Our culture is built on trust, growth, teamwork, and shared success. Together, we’re preserving and restoring structures while building a legacy of quality, integrity, and purpose.

What You’ll Build

• Lead high-impact structural and specialty construction projects from kickoff through final delivery and closeout.

• Own project performance through proactive planning, coordination, forecasting, and financial management.

• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, contracts, and project documentation while keeping client expectations and business objectives aligned.

• Lead project kickoff and readiness activities, reviewing risks, schedules, priorities, and project requirements to establish a clear plan for execution.

• Coordinate engineers, field leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project partners to keep work moving safely and efficiently.

• Lead project meetings, establish priorities, communicate expectations, and follow through on action items.

• Manage drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, material procurement, subcontractors, suppliers, change orders, billing, and other critical project documentation.

• Track project production, labor, costs, and overall performance to identify risks and opportunities early.

• Develop financial forecasts and projections using current production and cost information to maintain a clear picture of project performance.

• Foster a culture where safety, quality, communication, and accountability are part of how the work gets done every day.

• Partner with field leadership and the safety team to proactively identify risks and reinforce OSHA, company, and jobsite-specific safety requirements.

• Maintain open, proactive communication with clients, owners, inspectors, and project stakeholders.

• Make project decisions that strengthen client confidence, deliver successful outcomes, and position SSRG for future opportunities.

• Partner with business development and estimating teams on proposals and new project opportunities.

• Apply a solution-oriented mindset to structural, logistical, technical, and compliance-related challenges.

• Mentor and develop emerging Project Managers and Project Engineers, helping them build skills, take ownership, and grow into greater responsibility.

• Complete project closeout using established processes and ensure a successful final delivery.
