Project Manager
Deacon Construction · Portland, Oregon Office · Full-Time
Deacon Construction is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of commercial projects from our Oregon office. If you have strong project management experience and are looking for a company where you can grow your career alongside a growing organization, we would love to talk with you.
WHO WE ARE
At Deacon, we believe that great projects are built by great people, and great people deserve a place where they are genuinely valued. Our focus is simple: put our people first, build excellent projects, and maintain the long-standing client relationships that have defined our reputation for decades.
We work hard. We take pride in what we build and hold ourselves to a high standard. But we also know that the best teams are those that enjoy showing up every day, which means taking time to connect, celebrate, and have fun along the way. Whether it is a summer picnic, a jobsite BBQ, a holiday party, or one of the many events we organize throughout the year across our offices, we make it a priority to keep that sense of community alive.
As we grow, we are committed to maintaining the heart of who Deacon is. That means staying true to the culture that got us here: people who care about their work, their teams, and each other.
WHY JOIN DEACON?
- People-first culture with mentorship, training, and real opportunities for advancement as we expand across the West Coast and Mountain West.
- Meaningful work on projects that shape communities: Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, Multi-Family, Mixed-Use, Senior Housing and Memory Care, and Affordable Housing.
- Stability and growth: privately held, financially strong, and expanding. As Deacon grows, so do the opportunities for our people. We are looking for experienced PMs who want a long-term home where their career can grow with us.
- A team that works hard and has fun doing it: office events, summer picnics, holiday parties, and jobsite BBQs throughout the year.
