TQA Consulting is seeking a Project Manager for a 6-month full-time contract in Darwin, NT. Candidates must be based in Darwin or willing to relocate and have lived in Australia for the past 5 years.

About The Role
In this role, you’ll provide leadership, coordination and direction across the delivery of assigned projects. You’ll manage and support project teams, providing expert advice to drive successful outcomes aligned with project objectives.
The role has a strong focus on planning, delivery, implementation and adoption, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to agreed quality standards.
Essential Skills and Experience
At least 5 years’ experience leading teams and/or delivering projects involving organisational, operational, or technology-driven change.
Proven ability to plan and coordinate people, resources, and activities to deliver outcomes in complex or high-risk environments.
Strong understanding of project planning, coordination, risk management, and governance, with experience overseeing projects, complex operations, critical incidents, or organisational change.
Demonstrated ability to manage both project delivery and organisational adoption, ensuring outcomes are effectively implemented and embedded into business operations.
Experience supporting or leading change management activities, including training, communication, and user engagement.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
Ability to identify and assess operational, legislative, and regulatory requirements relevant to a project or organisational environment.
Demonstrated ability to deliver project outcomes and meet agreed deliverables while responding effectively to changing operational priorities.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience working on large, complex, or high-profile projects.
Exposure to policing, public safety, or government environments.
Understanding of IT Service Management and/or digital transformation frameworks.
Familiarity with technical concepts including system design, systems integration, and data interfaces.
Proficiency with project and collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams, Jira, or similar platforms, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies.
