Own end-to-end delivery of one or more large-scale IT programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and the IT roadmap; define scope, objectives, success metrics, and benefits realization plans; and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, and milestones across multiple workstreams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leaders, business partners, and technical teams; deliver clear status reports, dashboards, and steering committee updates; and facilitate decisions, escalate issues, and resolve conflicts and dependencies.
Establish and run program governance, including steering committees, change control, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
Ensure adherence to security, audit, regulatory, and change management standards (e.g., ITIL, SOX, ISO 27001, as applicable).
Own program budget, forecasting, and variance tracking; manage vendor and third-party relationships, SOWs, and contract deliverables; and coordinate resource allocation and capacity planning across project managers, engineers, and business teams.
Lead and mentor project managers and coordinators; apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate; and ensure quality through defined acceptance criteria, testing, cutover, and go-live readiness.
Partner with business and communications teams on change management, training, and user adoption, and ensure smooth operational handoff to support and run teams.
Lead post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience in IT project/program management, including 3+ years managing multi-project programs
Proven track record delivering large, cross-functional technology programs (enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or digital transformation)
Strong knowledge of program management frameworks (PMI/PMBOK, Agile/Scrum, SAFe, hybrid)
Experience managing program budgets and vendor relationships
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency with program management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, ServiceNow, Power BI)
