Project Manager

Cornell Human Ecology explores the complexity of human life. We bring together a wide range of perspectives to understand the full context of the human experience and improve lives at every scale, from cells to society. Our research and academic programs focus on the interaction of humans with their biological, economic, social and physical environments. Using Cornell's far-reaching extension network and the college's translational research methods, we deliver our findings directly to communities and families, ensuring that our work reaches those who need it most. **The Opportunity** Health Behaviors Lab: The Health Behaviors Lab conducts community-engaged research to understand and improve the behaviors and environments that shape health and well-being. Our work focuses on nutrition, physical activity, and other health behaviors, with particular attention to children, families, caregivers, and the early childhood workforce. We partner with communities, practitioners, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and evaluate interventions that are responsive to real-world needs and can be translated into programs, practice, and policy. Our research draws on behavioral, intervention, and implementation science and uses a range of quantitative, qualitative, and technology-enabled methods. Across projects, our goal is to conduct research that is driven by communities, rigorous in its methods, and intended to create knowledge that others can use to improve health and reduce inequities.
