Junior PM/BA at a fintech/trading tech company bridging business and engineering. You'll write specs, create user stories, manage backlogs, and help drive delivery with dev teams. Requires strong technical or math background and analytical skills. Prague-based with flexible hours and home-office options.
We are a unique combination of a technology company and a trading house. Our mission is to turn data into market-beating trading strategies by using sophisticated mathematical models while helping to balance the power grid.
Our team consists of top-class developers, quant analysts and traders who use their accumulated know-how to create a state-of-the-art platform. No legacy code, no mundane maintenance and outdated technologies, just pure engineering joy of creating a well-designed piece of software.
We’re looking for a Junior Project Manager/Business Analyst. Someone curious, analytical, and ready to grow into a bridge between business and tech. You’ll get hands-on mentoring from senior PMs/BAs, while contributing directly to projects that matter.
What would you work on?
- Write lightweight specs - translate business needs into concise functional notes your dev teammates can ship from (no 30-page PDFs).
- Turn ideas into clear user stories - shadow a senior PM/BA, sketch simple flows, and capture requirements with acceptance criteria.
- Shape the roadmap with guidance - help score ideas by impact/effort, propose MVPs, and keep priorities aligned with tech feasibility.
- Keep the backlog healthy - break epics into actionable tasks, triage bugs, clarify scope.
- Drive delivery with the team.
What makes you a great candidate?
- Have a strong technical or mathematics background: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or in your final years) at a top university - and a product mindset.
- Think analytically - you model problems and make data-driven decisions.
- Communicate clearly - you challenge assumptions, align stakeholders, and simplify complexity.
- Own outcomes - proactive, structured, reliable, with a strong bias to action.
- Language - Fluent English, both written and spoken (additional languages welcome).
What do we offer?
- Brand new office in the city center - Masarycka.
- Competitive salary package with the possibility of a yearly bonus.
- 25 days of paid holiday.
- Flexible working hours and home-office options.
- High-end workstation.
- Sponsored lunch in the office. Every workday.
- Free snacks at the office.
- Multisport Card - fully paid by the company.
- Colleagues who are absolute experts in what they do.
