Job Description:
Represent the company in all technical discussions with consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders for Base Build (BB), Progressive Build (PB), and Hook-Up (HU) mechanical, electrical, utility, and cleanroom systems.
Review and approve engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, datasheets, utility matrices, hook-up drawings, and construction packages to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
Lead design reviews, constructability reviews, risk assessments (HAZOP, SIL), and performance evaluations for BB, PB, and HU systems.
Develop and maintain utility demand matrices and capacity assessments, identify system gaps, and recommend upgrades to support current and future production requirements.
Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of BB, PB, and HU scopes, ensuring seamless integration between facility infrastructure, process systems, and manufacturing equipment.
Contribute to cost‑saving, value engineering (VE), and optimization initiatives across BB, PB, and HU scopes to support project and financial targets.
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, installation, hook‑up, commissioning, and qualification phases.
Monitor consultant, contractor, and vendor performance against quality, safety, schedule, and budget objectives.
Support procurement activities by reviewing technical proposals, bid evaluations, contractor qualifications, and vendor submittals.
Coordinate interfaces among Facilities, Manufacturing, Tool Owners, Operations, EHS, Design Consultants, and Contractors to ensure effective execution and integration of BB, PB, and HU works.
Oversee construction, tool installation, hook‑up activities, testing & commissioning (T&C), system turnover, qualification support, and handover to operations, ensuring project readiness and production ramp‑up objectives are achieved.
Ensure all BB, PB, and HU activities comply with applicable engineering standards, EHS requirements, permit‑to‑work systems, cleanroom protocols, and operational constraints.
Prepare progress reports, technical assessments, risk registers, recovery plans, and management presentations, highlighting key milestones, risks, and readiness status across BB, PB, and HU workstreams.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience within semiconductor or industrial construction projects.
Skill and Competency Requirements:
Strong background in design, project execution, and construction support.
Technical expertise in MEP and factory cleanroom system.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage complex problems and provide practical solutions.
Strong teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
