A Project Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to project delivery teams, ensuring projects are organized, documented, and progressing according to plans. They work with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to maintain project information, coordinate schedules, support reporting, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle, using Microsoft Office
This is a remote position.
Currently, we are looking for a Project Co-Ordinator to join an established telecommunications company, delivering turnkey connectivity services across the UK. With more than 800 employees, the company works with major clients including Virgin Media, Community Fibre, GigaClear and Zayo.
We are looking for a Project Co-Ordinator to support delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle. You will coordinate project activities, maintain accurate documentation and systems and support effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM UK time
Your Duties:
- As a Project Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle by maintaining schedules, trackers, logs, action lists and project documentation.
- Coordinating project activities, deadlines, milestones and dependencies, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Maintaining records of risks, issues, actions and changes, escalating concerns to the Project Manager where required.
- Supporting statutory, permit and notice activities by preparing and maintaining the required information and documentation.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including job packs, work instructions and other delivery-related materials.
- Updating project information across internal and external systems and ensuring project records are complete and accurate.
- Supporting project meetings and reporting by coordinating information, preparing updates, capturing actions and following up on outstanding items.
- Liaising with internal teams, external suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders to support smooth project delivery and resolve issues where required.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project administration, or a similar project support role.
- Experience maintaining project schedules, trackers, logs, documentation and reports.
- Good understanding of the project lifecycle and basic project management controls.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities accurately.
- Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers or clients.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly share project updates and information.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with project management systems and maintain accurate project records.
- English language Upper Intermediate B2 is a must.
