Senior Project Architect – Residential Remodeling

Location: Northern Virginia (Hybrid)
Company: MOSS Building & Design

Join the Team That’s Reinventing Home Remodeling

At MOSS, we’re not just remodeling homes — we’re transforming the customer experience in an industry that’s long overdue for change. Based in Northern Virginia, MOSS is an award-winning residential remodeling company with a reputation for innovation, integrity, and extraordinary service. Our customers come to us tired of the hard sell, poor workmanship, and frustrating processes. We’re changing that — with honest communication, cutting-edge design, and a team that truly cares.

We’re growing fast and are looking for a Senior Project Architect who’s ready to change the game with us.

What is a Senior Project Architect at MOSS?

At MOSS, our Senior Project Architects do more than design — they lead. From initial concept through detailed drawings and immersive 3D and VR presentations, our architects understand and shape the full scope of each project. You’ll partner closely with clients to understand how they live today and what they aspire to tomorrow, then bring those dreams to life with creativity, precision, and purpose.

This role goes far beyond traditional architecture in remodeling — you’ll be at the heart of the entire process, collaborating across teams and driving exceptional results.

Why Join MOSS as a Senior Project Architect?

• Lead meaningful, creative design across a diverse portfolio — from $20K refreshes to $500K+ full-scale renovations and additions.
• Work on a team where design matters, and where every project starts with a clear scope and budget set by experienced sales consultants who want to see you succeed.
• Make a real impact in clients’ lives by designing beautiful, functional spaces they’ll love for years.
• Enjoy a supportive, collaborative culture with long-tenured team leaders, a stable management team, and company-wide alignment on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Grow your career with ongoing support for your professional development and creative exploration.
• Experience flexibility with a hybrid work schedule, including some remote work as projects allow.
• Earn competitively with a high base salary and access to company profit sharing. Six-figure compensation is well within reach.

Who Thrives Here?

We’re looking for professionals who:

• Are passionate about improving the home remodeling experience — not just the outcome, but how people feel throughout the process
• Want to take the lead on high-impact projects and be a key driver in problem-solving and innovation
• Appreciate being part of a well-structured organization where collaboration is real and roles are clearly defined
• Enjoy programming, designing, and specifying architectural renovations and additions with real-world constraints and full team support
• Value working with an experienced, trustworthy leadership team that invests in your success

• Competitive base salary with the potential to earn six figures
• Profit sharing based on company performance
• Flexible hybrid work model
• Supportive culture focused on professional growth and personal fulfillment
