The Enterprise Applications Programmer Analyst is responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications that enable Columbus Water Works to achieve its strategic and operational objectives.
The position develops software solutions, SQL Server databases, reports, Power BI dashboards, REST API integrations, and Microsoft 365 solutions while supporting enterprise platforms including Lawson ERP, ADP, AUS Infinity CIS, Cityworks, and other SaaS applications. Working within a small Information Services department, this role requires versatility across application development, databases, infrastructure, Windows and Linux systems, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years of enterprise application development or systems integration experience.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, REST APIs, GitHub, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and SQL reporting, Crystal Reports.
• SQL Server, SQL, Python, C#/.NET, PowerShell, SharePoint Online, Power Automate
• Windows Server and Linux administration
• TCP/IP networking fundamentals, DNS, DHCP, SSL certificates
• Experience supporting Lawson ERP, ADP, AUS Infinity CIS, Cityworks, and other enterprise SaaS applications
• Experience with project management and ITIL change management

Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional work in server rooms and utility facilities. Must occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and travel between facilities.
Primarily indoor office environment with occasional exposure to industrial utility environments. Participation in after-hours maintenance, system upgrades, and emergency support.
