Are you excited to drive high-visibility, strategic logistics and technology solutions? Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) Japan is looking for a Program Manager who continuously engages across business, technical and operational teams to deliver bigger smiles for our customers.
At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions of products each year to our loyal customers. Amazon has great opportunities to pursue a career as a leader in Operations Planning & Management. We know that learning through experience is what transforms talented people into great leaders. Our roles are designed to accelerate the growth of leaders through challenging field experiences that stretch individual capability. Our operations environment presents the candidates with great challenges in dealing with front line management, and driving scalable and continuous improvements across our Fulfillment Centers, Supply Chain & Transportation execution teams.
As a Program Manager of an end-to-end planing scope including First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile, you will be the subject matter expert in gathering and forecasting demand from customers, running capacity analysis, transportation planning, inventory management, inventory health, running simulation and scenarios for leadership, and synchronizing our supply and demand over the 13 week to 52 week horizon in order to meet our customer's needs. You will be a part of the Supply Chain team, leading small and medium term planning, engaging with leadership on getting it approved, and reviewing the plan vs actuals, highlighting and mitigating risks on the way to see your work impact real world business and end customer satisfaction.
At Amazon, you'll work alongside the latest AI and GenAI tools that are increasingly woven into how teams operate: from AI-powered capabilities that accelerate decision-making, to Generative AI that helps you focus on work that truly matters. You'll have opportunities and resources to develop AI fluency at your own pace, with continuous learning built into the culture.
