A Program Manager at Cognite drives AI-driven industrial digitalization projects, bridging product development and customer deployments to harden features, identify gaps, and ensure production readiness. The role focuses on orchestrating cross-functional teams, translating field insights into product improvements, and validating solutions with enterprise customers.
What Cognite is: Relentless to achieve
Cognite operates at the forefront of industrial digitalization, building AI, and data solutions that solve the world’s hardest, highest-impact problems. We thrive in challenges. We challenge assumptions. We execute with speed and ownership. If you view obstacles as signals to step forward - not backwards - you’ll feel right at home here.
Our Moonshot is bold: Unlock $100B in customer value by 2035, and redefine how global industry works. Join us in this venture where AI and data meet ingenuity, and together, we will forge the path to a smarter, more connected industrial future.
How you’ll demonstrate Ownership
Ready to translate your consulting or delivery expertise into lasting product impact? As a Co-Innovation Program Manager at Cognite, you’ll work right at the seam between emerging AI product development and real-world customer operations.
Instead of just managing timelines, you will lead customer-partnered programs that put our latest capabilities into production. You’ll listen to how systems perform in the field, synthesize user insights, and partner directly with engineering and product leads to refine our platform.
The Impact you bring to Cognite
- Drive Co-Innovation: Own end-to-end delivery of customer-partnered programs that deploy emerging AI. Manage scope, timelines, resources, and risk to ensure successful outcomes.
- Harden the Product: Use customer deployments as a forcing function to pressure-test new capabilities. Surface edge cases, integration challenges, and gaps that only emerge in production environments.
- Feed Field Insights to Product: Systematically capture insights from the field and translate them into actionable product requirements. Partner with product managers and engineering leads to prioritize and sequence improvements.
- Orchestrate Delivery: Coordinate across Cognite engineers, data scientists, designers, and product teams. Remove roadblocks, manage dependencies, and keep workstreams aligned toward shared objectives.
- Ensure Production Readiness: Work with product teams and internal functions to define what "ready" means—ensuring new capabilities meet the bar for scalable sales and delivery before broader release.
- Facilitate Customer Collaboration: Lead workshops, working sessions, and technical discussions with customer teams. Extract signal from noise to identify the highest-leverage problems and validate solutions in real environments.
- You have 3+ years in tech consulting, TPM, or delivery: You know how to untangle complex client problems, build alignment, and keep high-stakes technical projects moving smoothly
- You love systems thinking: You easily connect the dots between raw software architecture, user feedback, and overarching business objectives.
- You're curious about AI & Industrial Tech: You don't need to be a deep data scientist on day one, but you are eager to learn how time-series data, LLMs, and enterprise platform architectures come together
- You communicate with clarity: You effortlessly translate dense technical challenges into clear, actionable paths forward for both clients and internal engineering teams.
Bonus points (nice to have, not required!)
- Exposure to AI/ML systems, LLM applications, or agentic workflows.
- Experience with industrial data (time series, sensor data, knowledge graphs) or platforms like Cognite Data Fusion (CDF).
- Background in fast-paced product environments with rapid iteration cycles.
Don't meet 100% of the preferred qualifications? We still encourage you to apply! We value adaptability, curiosity, and strong fundamentals.
