You will combine project leadership, industrialization, production engineering and operational improvement in a highly regulated medical technology environment.

• Coordinate Design Transfer and act as a key interface between Product Development and Operations, ensuring robust documentation and production readiness.

• Lead Manufacturing Excellence initiatives by applying Lean principles, standardization, waste reduction and structured continuous improvement to strengthen safety, quality, delivery and productivity.

This position is based in Växjö, Sweden. Due to the operational and project-based nature of the role, it is mainly based on site.

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications.

• Engineering degree from university or equivalent working experience
• Several years of relevant experience in production engineering, industrialization, manufacturing development, value stream engineering or project management.
• Proven experience leading complex cross-functional projects and implementing change in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methods, production flow optimization and structured continuous improvement.
• Experience in production layout, material flow development and preferably automation or advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Experience from medical technology or another regulated industry, with knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements, is highly meritorious.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is an advantage.

In addition to your technical expertise, we highly value your ability to create structure, build commitment and convert complex challenges into practical solutions. You are confident in challenging established ways of working while maintaining strong collaboration across functions.

You are analytical, proactive and solution-oriented, with the courage to take ownership and move initiatives forward. You are comfortable switching between strategic planning and hands-on implementation, and you have a strong interest in production technology, industrialization and operational development.

At Getinge we see ourselves as proactive and self-driven in learning and contributing to the continued development of our products and our organization's capabilities. We are Team Players, Forward Thinkers and Game Changers.
