Product Owner who owns appflame's internal support and moderation platform end-to-end: running one backlog across helpdesk, chat, moderation, QA, and reporting tools, defining success metrics per release, integrating AI automation, and leading developers and PMs. Core focus is support/moderation operations and data-driven product decisions.
appflame — a Ukrainian IT company building world-class products: Hily, Taimi, AdConnect.
Who we are today:
- 7 years on the market, 500+ employees, offices in Kyiv, London, and Limassol, plus a coworking space in Warsaw.
- In 2025, appflame ranked 5th among Ukraine's 50 best employers according to Forbes and won in the "Place for Growth" category.
- Our apps Hily and Taimi are among the Top 5 dating apps in the U.S., with over 70 million users. AdConnect and Mailkeeper build and scale our own B2B and B2C solutions.
Our mission: Flame up the world with Ukrainian products.
Our goals:
- Reach the top 5 product companies in the world.
- Become a unicorn — and turn Ukraine into a country where unicorns are born and thrive.
We're looking for daring, ambitious, and "a little crazy" people — those who love building real products and dream of launching cool startups. You have the ambition; we have the conditions to make it happen.
You will:
- Own the internal support and moderation platform end-to-end, including vision, roadmap, priorities, and results.
- Run one backlog for the helpdesk, chat, moderation, QA, and reporting tools, and decide what gets built and in what order.
- Collaborate with other products across the company to launch features together, improving the experience of millions of users.
- Define the success metric for every release, such as cost per contact, handling time, deflection, moderation speed, or accuracy, and check afterward whether it moved.
- Work closely with agents, moderators, and team leads to understand their workflows and turn their pain points into product decisions.
- Integrate AI to automate repetitive work, increase cost efficiency, and improve user experience.
- Lead a team of developers and project managers, keeping everyone moving toward the same goal.
We'll have a match if you:
- Have 2+ years of experience owning a product end-to-end, accountable for outcomes, not just delivery.
- Have experience with internal, B2B, or operational tools.
- Have a solid understanding of support or moderation operations, including queues, SLAs, routing, QA, and what one extra click costs across a 24/7 shift.
- Have hands-on experience shipping AI or automation features and measuring their impact on quality, not just volume.
- Have strong prioritization skills and the business judgment to weigh development cost against impact.
- Have the technical confidence to discuss architecture, trade-offs, and tech debt with engineers as a peer. Have clear, structured communication and the ability to lead people without needing formal authority.
- Have English at an Advanced (C1) level.
- Have strong analytical skills to build a data-driven product and make decisions based on data.
Will be an advantage:
- Have experience with a helpdesk platform, such as Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, or an in-house solution.
- Have a background in consumer apps with user-generated content.
- Have experience managing and leading teams
