These engines compute key parameters—ranging from rule-based indicators such as definition of default and early warning signals, to model-driven metrics like Probability of Default (PD) and Loss Given Default (LGD).

These parameters have a direct impact on capital calculation, Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), and Loan Loss Provisions (LLP), making regulatory compliance a critical aspect of the team’s work. The team also maintains the data mart used for developing new models and acts as a vital link between Credit Risk business and Operational tribes such as Data Management. As part of the team, team members get an unique opportunity to contribute towards the overall digitalization of the risk domain.
