The Opportunity:

This is a highly influential product management role for someone who can combine commercial thinking, stakeholder leadership and deep data platform expertise to solve complex business challenges.

As part of our Analytics, AI & Automation function, you'll sit at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with senior stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translating them into scalable, future-focused analytics products.

Operating without direct reports but with significant influence, you'll lead through relationships, bringing together commercial teams, data engineers, developers and product owners to drive meaningful outcomes. You'll challenge assumptions, uncover root causes and help stakeholders define better solutions rather than simply delivering requested outputs.

Success in this role requires someone who can think strategically while remaining hands-on enough to guide delivery. You'll bring a strong product management mindset, deep Databricks expertise and a passion for building capabilities that create lasting business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, own and evolve the Analytics and BI product vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Partner with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and other business functions to identify opportunities where data can unlock growth, efficiency and competitive advantage.
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable products, platforms and data solutions.
• Lead prioritisation and stakeholder alignment across multiple initiatives and competing business needs.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, AI and Automation teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
• Champion data governance, data quality and trusted metrics across the analytics ecosystem.
• Influence the future direction of Suntory's analytics capability, ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable and future-ready.
• Balance business value, user experience and technical feasibility when making product decisions.
• Drive adoption and measurable business outcomes through analytics products that go beyond reporting and enable better decision-making.

What we're looking for:

• A commercially minded Product Manager who has successfully owned and evolved data, analytics or technology products. You're able to define a vision, influence direction, make prioritisation decisions and solve business problems rather than simply deliver requests.
• A trusted business partner who can build credibility with senior stakeholders, challenge thinking constructively and bring people together around a common outcome. You'll be comfortable navigating competing priorities and influencing decisions in a complex environment.
• A Databricks expert with deep, hands-on knowledge of the platform and modern data ecosystems. You can confidently engage with technical teams, understand how data products are built, and use that expertise to shape better business solutions.
• A champion of data governance who understands the importance of trusted metrics, data quality, ownership and security. You've successfully embedded governance principles into analytics products and ways of working.
• An FMCG professional who understands the pace, complexity and commercial realities of a consumer-driven business, and how data can be leveraged to create meaningful business impact.
• A strategic thinker and builder who naturally looks beyond the immediate request to identify the underlying business challenge. You're future-focused, solution-oriented and motivated by creating scalable capabilities that deliver long-term value.

What does success look like?

You're someone who:

• Thinks strategically but loves building and improving products.
• Sees beyond individual requests to identify the underlying business problem.
• Brings a balance of commercial understanding, product thinking and technical credibility.
• Can move seamlessly between executive conversations and technical discussions.
• Challenges the status quo and inspires stakeholders to think differently.
• Is naturally curious, future-focused and motivated by continuous improvement.
• Anticipates future business needs rather than simply reacting to current demands.
• Builds scalable capabilities and solutions that deliver long-term value.
• Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys bringing clarity to complex challenges.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping Suntory Oceania's analytics future, partnering with leaders across the business to transform data into a genuine competitive advantage.
