Product Manager (Payments)

Our Mission and Vision
At Solidgate, our mission is clear: to empower outstanding entrepreneurs to build exceptional internet companies. We exist to fuel the builders - the ones shaping the digital economy - with the financial infrastructure they deserve. To achieve that, we're on a bold path: to become the #1 payments orchestration platform in the world.
We believe the future of payments is shaped by people who think big, take ownership, and bring curiosity and drive to everything they do. That's exactly the kind of teammates we want on board.

About the role
You'll take full ownership of Payment Orchestration - the flagship product at the core of how Solidgate helps clients move money.
At the center sits the Payment Router: the system where each client decides where, and in what priority, to route their payments, and which capabilities to apply. You'll also grow the systems around it that let clients run the full routing lifecycle - creating connector accounts, configuring routing, testing and analytics, monitoring and support.
Your north star: maximize each client's GMV and margin uplift while minimizing the time and effort they spend setting it up and keeping it running.
This is a hands-on, execution-first role. Most of your time goes into shipping inside a genuinely deep, detail-heavy domain, with a meaningful slice reserved for shaping where the product goes next.

What You will Own:
Drive execution - ship projects and features that move the product forward, hit commitments, and unblock the team
Run discovery - identify growth opportunities, structure ideas, and conduct research to validate what to build next
Own planning and prioritization - build and maintain a clear roadmap, make trade-off calls grounded in business goals, and keep the team focused on what matters most
Lead your cross-functional team - connect engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders into a coherent delivery machine
Set the standard - bring the craft: structured thinking, clear documentation, sharp prioritization, and a culture of shipping with quality
Measure and improve - define success metrics, track outcomes, and use data to course-correct fast

Why This Role Is a Career Accelerator
You'll own infrastructure that sits at the heart of how internet businesses collect money - this is not a peripheral product
You'll compete directly against global payment infrastructure players - the scope is real, the bar is high, and your decisions will be felt
The path forward is Lead PM, Principal PM, or a CPO track - Solidgate is scaling fast enough that the ceiling moves with you
You're joining at the formation stage of this team - you'll shape how product work gets done here, not inherit someone else's system
You'll develop rare depth in one of the most complex and defensible domains in fintech - the kind of expertise that compounds over a career

Team Setup You'll lead a cross-functional team of up to 8 people: Tech Lead, Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, and AQA.

Our Ideal Candidate
4+ years as a Product Manager with a proven delivery track - shipped products, not just managed roadmaps
Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving execution without direct authority
Strong prioritization skills grounded in business goals, not stakeholder noise
Able to navigate complex, multi-layered problems - this domain has many edge cases and no shortcuts
Systematic thinker who finds structure in ambiguity and communicates it clearly
Already using AI to optimize how you and your team work

The Points That Make You Stand Out
Experience in payments - 3DS, acquirer routing, tokenization - you know the domain
Technical background - enough to read architecture docs and earn engineering trust
Hands-on with data - SQL or BI tools, you go to the source yourself
Experience building interfaces or embedding AI into the product
