• Build strong relationships with customers to understand product performance, capture Voice of Customer, and identify opportunities to improve competitiveness, usability, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive product growth through strategic product evaluations, customer adoption initiatives, product promotions, and market-facing activities.
• Act as the focal point for complex customer escalations, coordinating cross-functional actions to ensure timely resolution and customer success.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Applications, Engineering, Service, Sales, and Marketing to maximize product performance, quality, profitability, and lifecycle success.
• Lead Technical Review Meetings to drive product priorities, customer commitments, launch readiness, and cross-functional alignment.
• Own product lifecycle management, including product enhancements, business performance tracking, portfolio optimization, and End-of-Life planning and execution.
• Support market analysis, competitive assessment, and business case development to guide strategic product decisions.

Requirements

• MSc in Physics, Materials Science, Electronics, Optics, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience in the semiconductor equipment industry.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes and equipment.
• Previous experience in Applications, Product Marketing, Product Management, or a similar customer-facing technical/business role within a global technology company.
• Strong business and strategic thinking, including the ability to analyze markets, assess competition, and develop business cases.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with customers and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to combine deep technical understanding with commercial and business-oriented decision-making.
• Willingness to travel internationally frequently.

Advantages:

• Experience managing products throughout the full product lifecycle, from definition and commercialization to product enhancements and End-of-Life.
• Experience working directly with global semiconductor customers.
• Background in metrology, process control, inspection, or other semiconductor manufacturing technologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional product forums, technical reviews, or customer-facing product evaluations.

That special something you bring in:

• Excellent technical understanding and the ability to quickly grasp complex multidisciplinary products.
• Strong business orientation with the ability to connect customer needs, market trends, and product opportunities.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and global teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for different audiences.
