Product Manager - Leasing & New Car (f/d/m)

mobile.de is Germany’s largest vehicle marketplace, with more than 1.6 million listed cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and e-bikes (annual average 2025). Both private customers and registered vehicle dealers use the platform and benefit from more than 140 million visits per month*. As a “one-stop shop,” mobile.de’s offering includes not only buying and selling, but also financing and leasing solutions. Founded in 1996, the company is a subsidiary of Adevinta, a global leader in online classified portals.

Based in Berlin-Charlottenburg, we offer a dynamic environment where growth, learning, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. If you are driven by an eagerness to disrupt, have a passion for collaboration, and are excited about shaping the future of mobility, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for an experienced, strategic Product Manager to own our Leasing & New Car domain. You will be the driving force behind how mobile.de serves customers looking for new cars and leasing solutions, one of the fastest-growing and most commercially significant segments in the automotive market. In this role, you will set the direction for the product, align stakeholders around a clear vision, and lead a cross-functional team to deliver outcomes that matter.

You will take full ownership of the leasing and new car experience, from discovery through to conversion, and will be a key voice in shaping the long-term strategy for this domain. As part of this, you will also lead a significant strategic initiative that will meaningfully expand our proposition in this space. Details will be shared with you during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• 3–5 years of product management experience: You have a track record of owning a product area end-to-end, shipping meaningful features, and driving measurable business impact.
• Strategic and Data-Driven: You can zoom out to set direction and zoom in to validate it with data. You are comfortable with ambiguity and know how to structure a problem before solving it.
• User-Obsessed: You deeply understand that choosing a new car or leasing deal is one of the most significant financial decisions a consumer makes — and you design for that reality.
• Strong Communicator and Influencer: You can build alignment across engineering, design, commercial, and leadership. You know how to tell a compelling product story.
• Commercially Aware: You understand how product decisions connect to revenue, margins, and market positioning. Experience with financial products, subscriptions, or transactional flows is a strong plus.
• Automotive or Marketplace Experience: Background in e-commerce, classifieds, automotive, or financial products is highly valued. A genuine interest in the leasing and new car market is essential.

Why join us?

• Real Ownership: This is not a supporting role. You will own a commercially critical domain and have the mandate to shape its direction.
• Senior Environment: You will work alongside experienced product leaders, with direct exposure to strategic decisions at the cluster and company level.
• Growth: We invest in our people. You will have the space to develop your craft, broaden your impact, and grow into greater responsibility over time.

Requirements

• Own your Strategy: Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for your product, balancing user needs, business goals, and market opportunities.
• Lead with Data: Leverage qualitative research, user feedback, and quantitative analytics to make sharp prioritization decisions and identify the highest-leverage opportunities.
• Shape a Market-Leading Proposition: Take the lead in defining what a best-in-class leasing and new car experience looks like — intuitive, trustworthy, and differentiated in a competitive market.
• Drive Experimentation at Scale: Design and run A/B tests and iterative experiments to validate strategic bets around acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
• Influence Without Authority: Align engineering, design, data science, commercial, and senior leadership around a shared direction. You are comfortable presenting to and challenging stakeholders at all levels.
• Define and Own Success Metrics: Set the KPIs for your domain, track progress rigorously, and hold yourself and your team accountable to outcomes — not just output.
