About the Role
ByteBridge is seeking a Product Manager on behalf of one of its partners to lead the development of a next-generation infrastructure platform from concept through commercialization. This role is responsible for defining product strategy, managing the product roadmap, coordinating engineering and manufacturing partners, and ensuring successful delivery of a highly integrated hardware solution.

The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, field services, and executive leadership to transform product concepts into commercially successful solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Define and manage the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle
Gather customer and market requirements and translate them into product priorities and specifications
Lead cross-functional product development across engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and field services
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, structural, and software design activities, including design reviews and technical milestones
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype through production, including validation, pilot builds, ECOs, and launch readiness
Drive design-for-manufacturing (DFM), serviceability, manufacturability, and cost-reduction initiatives
Manage supplier and manufacturing partner relationships, including vendor qualification and sourcing support
Track project schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies and provide regular updates to executive leadership
Support customer demonstrations, incorporate customer feedback into product enhancements, and assist with pricing and product positioning
Develop product documentation, training materials, and technical content to support sales and marketing
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
7+ years of Product Management or Technical Program Management experience.
Experience developing complex hardware products.
Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to balance technical and business priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in critical infrastructure, power systems, industrial equipment, HVAC, energy storage, industrial automation, building technologies, data centers, prefabricated construction, or OEM manufacturing
Experience with product roadmaps, Voice of Customer (VOC), PRDs, and Stage-Gate development
Knowledge of design reviews, risk management, DFMEA/PFMEA, DFM/DFA, cost modeling, and BOM management
Experience with vendor management, PLM systems, and technical documentation
Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet
Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Experience preparing and presenting executive-level product or project updates
Compensation
$120,000 - $200,000 (depending on location and experience)
