Product & Go-To-Market (GTM) Manager – HONOR Mobile Devices & AIoT

Salary: $95,000 – $130,000 per year

About the role

We are seeking a sharp, commercial, and execution-driven GTM / Product Manager to own HONOR mobile, tablet and expanded ecosystem across New Zealand. Sitting at the intersection of product lifecycle, channel strategy, and sales execution, you will lead local product launches and drive commercial success from initial concept through to end-of-life.

Reporting directly to the NZ Country Manager, you will work closely with local sales, marketing, and supply chain teams, as well as carrier partners and retail channels, to turn global product strategies into market-leading local results.

Key responsibilities

• Product Lifecycle Management: Own the full portfolio lifecycle for the full ecosystem in NZ. Monitor range performance, manage forecasting inputs, drive sell-through initiatives, and handle end-of-life inventory transitions.

• Launch Planning & Execution: Lead end-to-end launch strategy for new device ranges. Align product messaging, pricing positioning, stock availability, and promotional calendars for seamless day-one market execution.

• Channel & Retail Management: Partner with key local sales channels—including tier-1 telco, national retailers, and enterprise partners—to optimise range placement, channel mix, and promotional ROI.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the local product champion. Work hand-in-hand with the NZ Marketing team on demand generation campaigns and collaborate with Sales to align on targets and trade incentives.

• Stakeholder Management: Build strong working relationships with internal country leadership, regional/HQ product management teams, and external partner commercial leads.

About you

• Industry Experience: 5+ years in product management, GTM, or commercial channel management within telecommunications, mobile hardware, or consumer electronics.

• Lifecycle Expertise: Proven track record of taking consumer hardware or mobile devices from launch planning through to commercial wrap-up.

• Local Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the New Zealand mobile landscape, including carrier networks, major retail channels, and local consumer behavior.

• Commercial Acumen: Excellent analytical capability with experience in forecasting, margin management, and promotional tracking.

• Communication & Influence: Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to align diverse teams around clear product goals.
