Product Designer (UI/UX)

We're looking for a Product Designer (UI/UX) to join our Product team and help shape intuitive, scalable and visually engaging experiences across our product suite. Working closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers and customers, you'll turn complex workflows and business requirements into software experiences that are simple, effective and meaningful.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating with cross- functional teams, and influencing products from discovery through to delivery.

About the Role

As a Product Designer, you'll be responsible for creating user-centred experiences that balance customer needs, business outcomes and technical constraints. You''ll work within Agile delivery teams to shape solutions from early discovery through to implementation, helping ensure our products are intuitive, accessible and easy to use.

You'll contribute to customer discovery activities, facilitate workshops, create wireframes and prototypes, design polished interfaces, and work closely with Engineering teams to bring solutions to life.

What You'll Be Doing

• Translate customer, business and technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.

• Create user journeys, workflows, information architecture, wireframes and interactive prototypes.

• Design accessible, responsive and visually consistent interfaces.

• Facilitate discovery sessions, design workshops and design reviews.

• Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts and Engineers throughout the software lifecycle.

• Conduct and participate in customer research validation and usability testing activities.

• Contribute to and evolve our design system and reusable component library.

• Help simplify complex workflows and improve usability and consistency.

• Support the implementation process and ensure design intent is delivered.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• 3-5 years' experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI design or a similar role.

• Demonstrated experience designing digital software products.

• Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking, problem-solving and delivered outcomes.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design tools.

• Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs.

• Experience working within Agile product teams.

• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to independently manage priorities and deliver high-quality work.

Highly Regarded

• Experience designing enterprise software or Saas products.

• Experience contributing to design systems and component libraries.

• Experience conducting user research, usability testing or validation activities.

• Experience working within defence, aviation, emergency services or other complex operational environments.

• Interest in emerging technologies and AI-assisted workflows.
