Plata is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design of its lending origination flows in Mexico — card applications, onboarding, verification, and KYC/credit-decisioning — turning complex, data-heavy processes into clear, conversion-focused experiences. Work is flexible (remote or office), with relocation support to hubs in Mexico, Cyprus, Serbia, or Spain.
At Plata, we’re redefining how people apply for and access financial products in Mexico. Origination is where everything begins — from onboarding and card applications to verification and approval.
We’re looking for a Product Designer to lead the design of these critical experiences, making them fast, transparent, and trustworthy for every customer. If you have experience in fintech or lending, thrive in data-heavy environments, and love turning complexity into clarity, we’d love to talk to you.

- Evolve Plata’s design language to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability across onboarding and lending products
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate ideas and continuously improve conversion and trust
- Keep a close eye on metrics and funnel performance, identifying opportunities for optimization
What makes you a great fit:
- 3+ years of experience in product design, ideally in fintech, lending, or onboarding flows

- Flexible work from one of our offices or remote
- Healthcare Coverage
- Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications
