If you have a passion for building strong teams, creating innovative products, and solving complex user problems, we want you!

This is a Hybrid-based role with 3 days per week in our Dublin office on Dame St.

You will:

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Product Designers, supporting their growth and development.

• Drive the design vision and user experience for one of Gong’s key product areas, in close partnership with Product and Engineering.

• Provide clear direction, feedback, and design critique to ensure high-quality, user-centered solutions.

• Guide designers through discovery, ideation, and execution, from early concepts to detailed design.

• Act as a design leader and user advocate, ensuring design decisions are grounded in user needs and business goals.

• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to shape roadmaps, scope work, and deliver impactful experiences.

• Help evolve and uphold UI patterns, design systems, and best practices across the team.

• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and building a strong design culture within the Dublin design team.

You should apply if you are:

• A design leader with 3–5 years of experience managing product designers.

• An experienced product designer with a strong background in designing flows, experiences, and UI for complex digital products, ideally in B2B SaaS.

• Comfortable balancing people leadership with hands-on involvement when needed.

• A thoughtful leader who can give clear feedback, guide decision-making, and help designers navigate ambiguity.

• A strong problem solver who can help teams break down complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions.

• Passionate about building exceptional UX and high-performing design teams.

• Experienced with user research methodologies and applying insights at a team and product level.

• Proficient with Figma and modern design workflows.

• An excellent communicator with strong presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills.

What makes the Product Design department at Gong unique?

Here at Gong, we trust and empower our employees with ownership to solve complex problems, make the right decisions, and build the best products that create radical impact. We call this “Own. Solve. Impact.”

Being a Product Designer at Gong is all about engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and building great products to address those needs. We have empowered teams. Each product designer works closely with a product manager and an engineering team to drive forward an agenda or domain. The pod is responsible for working with customers, iterating towards a great solution, and driving it towards success. There are many amazingly talented PDs to work with, collaborate, learn from, and contribute from your own knowledge.

We encourage our employees to express their personality and identity (whether gender, ethnic, religious, or sexual), and we ensure fairness and equal opportunities. We follow a hybrid working model that combines working from home, on the go, or at the office. This allows us: flexibility, autonomy, positive work relationships, and effective work habits.
