Güntner Group is hiring a Product Cyber Security Officer in Fürstenfeldbruck to own the cybersecurity of its networked systems and control units across the full product lifecycle — establishing CRA/IEC 62443 compliance, advising R&D on secure design (SDL), managing vulnerabilities and SBOMs with PSIRT, and running risk analyses, audits, and supplier security requirements.
In this newly created key role, you will be responsible for the product cybersecurity of our networked systems and control units throughout their entire lifecycle:
- CRA Compliance & Standards: Establish and manage CRA compliance and ensure adherence to relevant standards, including IEC 62443.
- Security by Design: Advise R&D and software teams on implementing secure architectures within the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL).
- Vulnerability & Incident Management: Manage vulnerabilities, including SBOM, in close collaboration with PSIRT.
- Risk Analysis & Audits: Conduct threat and risk analyses, support security testing, and prepare compliance assessments and audits.
- Interface & Supply Chain: Act as the central interface between management, engineering and procurement for supplier security requirements.
- Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Automation, or a comparable technical field; further security training is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of CRA and IEC 62443
- Experience with SDL, security risk assessments, and vulnerability management
- Understanding of industrial automation, networked systems, IoT, and embedded systems
- Experience with industrial compliance and audit processes
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a high sense of quality and responsibility
- Strong communication and assertiveness across all organisational levels
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent English; German is an advantage
