Procurement Transformation Lead

Want to influence the bigger picture? At Saab, you can realise amazing innovations that keep people and societies safe. Together, we can truly make an impact – and your part matters.

Your role

In this role, you will drive transformation across Procurement and Supply Chain within SAAB Surveillance, turning strategy into measurable operational results. Your work will directly contribute to building safer societies. Procurement within SAAB Surveillance is in a significant transformation phase, where end-to-end supply chain excellence, digitalisation, automation, and data-driven decision-making are key enablers for future performance.

We are now looking for a Procurement Transformation Lead, who will play a key role in defining, driving, and delivering transformation and improvement initiatives across the procurement function. You will own the strategy and transformation roadmap for the procurement capability, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term value creation. You will lead and support transformation programs, pilots, and optimization activities, ensuring that initiatives are not only designed but also executed, scaled, and embedded into the organization. A core part of your role is translating strategic priorities into actionable execution plans and measurable results. You will operate in a highly complex, cross-functional environment, working closely with stakeholders in production, planning, R&D, engineering, quality, and supply chain to ensure alignment and execution across the value chain.

The role requires a strong ability to bring structure and momentum to transformation efforts, bridge strategy and execution, and ensure sustainable implementation of improvements that deliver tangible business impact. You will also use tools such as JIRA, Excel, and other analytical and reporting tools to track progress, manage initiatives, and communicate outcomes across the organization.

This position can be based in Solna or Gothenburg.

Main responsibilities

• Define the strategy and transformation roadmap for the procurement capability, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term value creation
• Drive end-to-end procurement and supply chain transformation initiatives
• Lead and support transformation programs, pilots, and optimization activities
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans and measurable results
• Ensure implementation, scalability, and embedding of improvements across the organization
• Implement process optimization, digitalisation, automation, and efficiency improvements (including RPA and AI solutions)
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across production, planning, R&D, engineering, quality, and supply chain
• Manage cross-functional initiatives using JIRA or similar tools
• Track progress, KPIs, and outcomes using reporting and analytics tools
• Communicate insights, status, and recommendations across all levels of the organization

Your profile

We're looking for a driven, structured, and execution-focused professional who has a genuine passion for delivering real results in complex environments. You bring a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations combined with hands-on experience in transformation, project delivery, and operational improvement. What sets you apart is your authentic commitment to turning strategy into measurable business impact. You're independent and resourceful, taking initiative and moving things forward with momentum, while remaining flexible and adaptable when priorities shift. You're genuinely comfortable engaging with people at all levels of the organization, and you have a real gift for adapting your communication style to connect with different audiences. Whether you're collaborating with frontline teams or strategizing with senior leadership, you speak their language and build meaningful relationships.

You thrive in complex, evolving environments where ambiguity is the norm. Rather than being overwhelmed, you bring clarity, structure, and positive energy to cross-functional initiatives. You have the rare combination of confidence and humility, sure of your expertise, but genuinely collaborative and open to different perspectives. If you're someone who finds fulfillment in driving change across organizational boundaries, who sees challenges as opportunities to make a real difference, and who brings both competence and warmth to everything you do, we'd love to meet you.
