Overview The Opportunity Are you passionate about negotiation, market dynamics and turning complex data into meaningful business decisions? Join PepsiCo’s Global Resin Category Procurement team and help shape sourcing strategies for one of our key packaging materials across Europe and Egypt. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global and highly collaborative environment, partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Research and Development, Legal and Sustainability teams across different markets. You will support strategic sourcing initiatives, engage with regional and global suppliers, analyze market and cost information, and help convert global category strategies into practical actions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong commercial judgment with analytical curiosity. You do not need to come exclusively from the resin or packaging industry. We are interested in professionals who have developed strong negotiation, data analysis and stakeholder-management capabilities in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Sales or another analytical commercial environment. The position is based in Egypt and reports to the Global Resin Category Procurement Manager located in London. While Egypt will be an important area of focus, the role will support sourcing and supplier-management activities across the broader European and Egyptian markets. Responsibilities Your Activities: Strategic sourcing and negotiation Support the execution of PET resin sourcing strategies across Europe and Egypt, covering virgin PET, recycled PET, emerging resin technologies and related feedstocks. Contribute to supplier negotiations by preparing fact-based scenarios, commercial comparisons, cost models and clear recommendations. Support Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal processes, including supplier outreach, bid analysis, supplier scorecards, negotiation preparation and implementation follow-up. Participate in strategic initiatives such as Project Starboard and other projects designed to strengthen supply, generate value and advance PepsiCo’s sustainability priorities. Support the implementation of PET resin feedstock soft-tolling projects across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Data analysis and business insights Analyze complex information related to pricing, supplier economics, market trends, volumes, costs and category performance. Transform data from different sources into clear insights and concise recommendations that support business decisions. Conduct supplier benchmarking, cost modeling, volume analysis and market intelligence. Validate pricing formulas, support savings and productivity tracking, and prepare business updates for regional and global stakeholders. Create practical tools, dashboards, trackers and structured databases that improve visibility and simplify decision-making. Supplier and stakeholder partnership Build effective day-to-day relationships with strategic virgin and recycled PET suppliers. Support commercial conversations, supplier performance reviews, issue resolution and continuous-improvement initiatives. Partner with local and global stakeholders to translate category strategies into executable plans. Balance business priorities, cost competitiveness, supply continuity, innovation and sustainability when evaluating opportunities. Communicate analysis and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across different functions, cultures and levels of the organization. Value creation and continuous improvement Identify opportunities to improve productivity, strengthen supply resilience and create sustainable value. Explore smarter ways of working by simplifying processes, improving data visibility and reducing manual activities. Support innovation and sustainability initiatives related to recycled materials, alternative technologies and supplier capabilities. Take ownership of workstreams and maintain follow-through from initial analysis through execution. Qualifications Who We’re Looking For Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. At least 3 years of professional experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Operations, or another analytical commercial role. Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, tender processes, cost modeling or market intelligence. Exposure to commodities, packaging materials, chemicals, polymers, recycling, manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with formulas, large datasets, data validation, scenario analysis and structured reporting. Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics or another related area. Strong negotiation capability, including the ability to prepare negotiation strategies, compare commercial scenarios and support data-driven discussions with suppliers. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to structure complex information, build models, identify patterns and translate findings into clear business recommendations. Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across cultures, functions and organizational levels. These are preferred capabilities rather than strict requirements.
