• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities, and other commercial terms.

• Prepare and process purchase orders.

• Track open orders from placement through final delivery.

• Follow up proactively with suppliers regarding delays, shortages, pricing changes, and availability.

• Maintain accurate vendor, product, pricing, and purchasing information.

• Research alternative suppliers and identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs.

• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Operations, Sales, and Accounting.

• Help resolve quantity, delivery, invoice, and pricing discrepancies.

• Strong negotiation and follow-up skills.

• Good Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote-work setup.

• Ability to work primarily during U.S. Pacific Time business hours.

A strong advantage if you have:

• Previous experience working with U.S.-based companies or suppliers.

• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.

• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, construction, industrial supplies, automotive, transportation, or shipping containers.

• Understanding of purchasing costs, margins, freight, lead times, and vendor payment terms.

Compensation

First 90 days: USD $1,500/month

After 90 days: USD $1,800/month, following successful completion of the initial period and satisfactory performance.

This is a full-time remote independent contractor opportunity with a U.S.-based company.

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

We're looking for someone who doesn't simply wait for instructions.

You should be the type of person who follows up, researches alternatives, negotiates, communicates problems early, and takes ownership of getting things done.

If a supplier is late, you follow up.

If a price is too high, you look for alternatives.

If materials may not arrive on time, you communicate before it becomes an operational problem.

If you enjoy procurement, negotiation, supplier research, and working in a fast-moving international environment, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply with your CV/resume in English only.
