Process Automation Field Engineer - On-site & Training

Schneider Electric in Italy is seeking a Service Engineer to join our Process Automation team. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot, and maintain automation systems at critical customer sites, focusing on DCS and Safety solutions.

This role requires close collaboration with clients to ensure reliable operation and optimization. You will install, commission, test, and troubleshoot controllers, HMIs, networks, and workstations; develop logics and screens for brownfield projects; and

Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process automation systems (controllers, HMI, network, workstations). Conduct system testing and participate in system integration activities. Develop logics & HMI screens for brownfield projects, system setup in staging areas. Provide technical support to customers and diagnose/resolving issues. On-duty availability weekly for department scheduling. Deliver training to customers on operation and maintenance. Bachelor's degree in Automation/CS/Electrical or equivalent experience. 3-4 years of experience in process automation. Knowledge of DCS/PLCs/SCADA and industrial protocols.
