We're seeking a seasoned Senior Professional Services (ProServe) Account Executive (PAE) to join our Healthcare and Life Sciences team at AWS Professional Services. In this role, you'll have end-to-end responsibility for our most strategic and complex HCLS accounts across EMEA, setting the account strategy and shaping ambitious, multi-year transformation programs where no playbook yet exists.
What You'll Do
You'll partner with C-level and board-level customers to shape and drive technology transformation programs, including AI/Gen AI/Agentic AI transformation, IT modernization, and cloud migration, at enterprise scale. Success means earning trust with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders across Digital, IT, AI, and key business functions within EMEA-based HCLS organizations, then working backwards from their strategic objectives to define, from the ground up, the programs, commercial models, and solutions that will deliver measurable business and patient impact.
You'll orchestrate a diverse ecosystem of partners to deliver exceptional outcomes:
- ProServe Cloud Architects
- AWS Specialists (including the Forward Deployed Engineering team)
- Amazon Partner Network Partners
- ProServe Delivery teams
Your success will be measured through revenue, billable bookings, team engagement, and customer satisfaction (NPS, CSAT).
What We're Looking For
We're seeking senior professionals who can translate complex technical concepts into strategic business value for HCLS customers, and who operate with full autonomy in ambiguous, high-stakes environments. You'll thrive here if you bring deep expertise in business development and sales methodologies, a track record of defining go-to-market strategy where none exists, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think big while executing at a high standard. We welcome candidates from any background whose track record shows an owned services-sales motion, regardless of job title or employer. Continuous curiosity and an obsession with customer objectives are essential to success in this role.
The Impact You'll Make
This is your opportunity to shape how technology drives business transformation and patient impact across healthcare and life sciences in EMEA. You'll be at the forefront of helping our largest and most strategic EMEA customers achieve their most ambitious goals, and you'll shape ProServe's HCLS strategy beyond any single account.
Key job responsibilities
- Developing and executing strategic account and portfolio plans with AWS Industries sales colleagues in EMEA, aligned to and helping shape the ProServe HCLS strategy
- Leading business development end-to-end for the most complex, highest-value accounts in scope by cultivating C-level and board relationships and shaping and advancing opportunities from origination through proposals, contracting and delivery launch
- Innovating how ProServe delivers high value for customers, through novel commercial arrangements and programmatic designs that set new precedents for the practice
- Sharing evolving customer insights and needs back with relevant AWS teams to inform our solution and service and ProServe priorities, influencing strategy beyond your own account portfolio
- Monitoring active projects to ensure that ProServe delivers on agreed customer business outcomes (CBOs)
