Principal Product Manager at Microsoft – Canada | Jobyssey

Overview

Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is transforming analytics through products including Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. Our mission is to build the data platform for the age of AI, powering a new class of data-first applications and driving a data culture.

Within Microsoft Fabric, the Real-Time Intelligence team enables organizations to act on data as it happens. By combining real-time ingestion, streaming, event processing, and observability signals, the team delivers capabilities that help customers detect patterns, respond to events, and drive immediate action. These experiences are tightly integrated into Fabric to support modern applications and operational decision-making in real time.

The Eventstream team owns the connectivity and streaming foundation that brings real-time data into Microsoft Fabric. Eventstream helps customers ingest, transform, and route high-volume event data from Apache Kafka, event brokers, messaging systems, and other sources.

We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead the Eventstream Kafka endpoint product area. This role will own the strategy, roadmap, delivery, competitive positioning, and customer engagement for the area. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees, we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
