Octostar is hiring a Principal DevOps Engineer in Galway (remote/hybrid) to own its infrastructure end to end — cloud and on-prem environments, Kubernetes clusters, release pipelines, and an air-gapped installer — reporting to the CTO. Day-to-day is hands-on work across CI/CD, security, observability, and cost management, plus customer-facing installation and upgrade support.
Octostar is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure, covering cloud and on-prem environments, Kubernetes clusters, release pipelines, and an air-gapped installer. The role involves design, implementation, day-to-day operation and documentation, reporting to the CTO.
You will lead hands-on work across CI/CD, security, observability, and cost management, collaborate with the DevOps team, and communicate with customers during installations and upgrades.
