Does this sound like you?
Are you an ambitious cloud generalist excited by the frontier of AI automation? Do you prefer operating at the architectural level guiding systems, orchestrating infrastructure, and supervising AI-driven code generation across multi-cloud environments rather than writing line-by-line application code? At Xebia, we are scaling globally, investing heavily in cloud-native innovation, and building teams that redefine how organisations scale technology.
About Xebia Cloud
We're at a pivotal point in our journey. For us, technology is about helping organisations reimagine what's possible when cloud becomes the foundation for innovation. Within the Cloud Division, we focus on high-impact AWS and GCP projects delivering everything from broad-scale infrastructure and migration to advanced generative AI solutions. We've recently been named Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Benelux and continue to grow exponentially within the AWS ecosystem as an AWS Premier Partner . We partner with some of the most ambitious enterprises across the region, and we're only just getting started.
About the Role
This is not a traditional software development position. We are looking for a deep generalist who leverages fundamental cloud expertise to oversee, scale, monitor, and direct AI-driven workloads. Under your supervised direction, you will guide AI systems to automate code, orchestrate pipelines, and scale multi-cloud environments.
What You'll Do
Architect Multi-Cloud Systems: Design, navigate, and maintain high-scale infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
Supervise AI Automation: Orchestrate AI capabilities to automate code generation, infrastructure provisioning, and workloads.
Maintain High Observability: Monitor and audit AI-driven deployments to ensure reliability, security, and performance at scale.
Lead & Mentor: Share your deep generalist knowledge during XKEs, guiding colleagues and helping client.
Requirements
Deep Cloud Fundamentals:
Strong background in core cloud architecture (networking, security, IAM, compute, and storage optimization).
AI & Automation Mindset:
Ability to leverage AI tools for automated code writing, pipeline creation, and system monitoring.
Broad Architectural Scope:
Experience across multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Community-Minded: Passionate about in-person collaboration, continuous learning, and actively participating in Xebia's knowledge-sharing culture.
What We Offer
☁️ Competitive salary and performance benefits
☁️ Substantial training budget, certifications, and bi-weekly XKE workshops (with dinner on us)
☁️ Club Cloud Fridays (special lunches, live updates, and team culture at Hilversum HQ)
☁️ Dedicated personal branding and career strategy support (speaking gigs, podcasts, blogging)
☁️ A supportive, people-first culture in world-class office spaces
Being Here Matters: Our Culture & Community
AI is accelerating how fast work moves, which makes the human side of what we do more important, not less. You can do client work from home, but true growth happens in the room in hallway conversations, bi-weekly XKE knowledge-sharing sessions, and spontaneously solving complex puzzles together. We champion an active, present community. That means showing up for Club Cloud Fridays at our Hilversum HQ (complete with team updates, special lunches, and zero remote recordings), bouncing ideas off peers in Amsterdam, and actively engaging in our vibrant Slack channels. We build thought leaders who present at events, publish blogs, and shape the cloud ecosystem together.
