We are looking for a Presales Engineer /Project Manager who bridges technical solutioning with customer-facingdelivery. This is a hybrid role for someone who can translate business problemsinto compelling technical solutions, run high-quality product proposals and demos, and own the planning and execution of customer projects from kickoff togo-live. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on AI engineering skills —including prompt design and LLM evaluation — and can apply them to strengthendemos, proposals, and delivery outcomes. You will work closely with Sales, Solutions,Engineering, and Service Delivery teams to shape solutions, manage deliverytimelines, and help customers succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Solutioning

• Partner with Sales to understand customer requirements and translate them into tailored technical solutions, proposals and demos
• Lead product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical deep-dives for prospects and existing clients
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate technical and functional documentation
• Design and prototype AI-driven workflows and prompt chains that address specific customer use cases
• Own the technical relationship during the sales cycle, addressing objections and building customer confidence

Project Management

• Own end-to-end delivery of customer implementation projects, from handoff after sale through go-live
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource schedules in collaboration with Engineering and Service Delivery
• Track project scope, budget, and milestones; proactively flag and resolve risks or blockers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation, managing expectations and communication
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Support, Design) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Run project status meetings, maintain documentation, and report progress to internal and customer stakeholders

AI Engineering Skills (Applied)

• Apply prompt design and LLM knowledge to strengthen demos, POCs, and proposals
• Design, test, and refine prompts and prompt chains for LLM-based features used in customer-facing work
• Evaluate model outputs for accuracy, consistency, and safety; iterate on prompt structures accordingly
• Build reusable prompt templates and libraries for common customer use cases
• Stay current on LLM capabilities (context windows, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows) and apply them to sales and delivery scenarios
• Collaborate with engineering on evaluation frameworks for prompt/model performance

Required Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, project management, or a related customer-facing technical role
• Hands-on experience writing and iterating on prompts for LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) for real product or business use cases
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM concepts: context windows, tokens, temperature, RAG, fine-tuning vs. prompting, tool/function calling
• Proven ability to run technical demos and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience managing project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communication (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum experience a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Design, and Service Delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with prompt engineering frameworks or tools (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, prompt evaluation platforms)
• Familiarity with APIs and basic scripting (Python/JavaScript) to build quick prototypes
• Background in SaaS, enterprise software, or B2B technology implementation/delivery
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
• Prior experience presenting to C-level stakeholders

What Success Looks Like

• Faster sales cycles through compelling, well-scoped technical demos and POCs
• Projects delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• A library of high-performing, reusable prompts that reduce time-to-value for customers
• Strong internal collaboration between Sales, Delivery, and Engineering, and high customer satisfaction during implementation
