Position Summary:

In this specialized technical sales and data protection role, you will spearhead designing and architecting enterprise data resilience, backup, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience solutions while supporting our growing portfolio of industry-leading vendor technologies. You will work closely with channel partners, resellers, enterprise customers, and vendor executives to deliver technical proposals, Bill of Materials (BOMs), product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs). Detailed Job Description:

As a Presales Engineer – Data Resilience at Amiviz in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will take full ownership of technical solution design, RFP/RFI responses, product demonstrations, partner enablement, and vendor roadmap alignment. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass architecting immutable storage and ransomware recovery frameworks, sizing multi-tier backup solutions across VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and leading customer‑facing technical presentations. You will collaborate proactively with sales teams, IT distributors, and technology vendors to accelerate sales cycles, provide technical training to channel partners, and participate in regional roadshows and workshops. Working in a fast‑paced technology distribution and cybersecurity environment in Riyadh, you will drive revenue growth, technical excellence, and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and propose enterprise data resilience, backup, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, Bill of Materials (BOMs), sizing calculations, architecture documents, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs), product demonstrations, and advanced technical presentations for enterprise clients and channel partners.
• Provide technical enablement, training, and sales engineering support to reseller networks and channel partners across Saudi Arabia.
• Collaborate proactively with technology vendors, regional partners, and end‑users on complex solution designs and technical requirements.
• Support vendor roadshows, industry partner events, regional tech workshops, and cybersecurity seminars.
• Provide expert consulting on backup and DR, ransomware recovery, immutable storage, and air‑gapped data vaults.
• Evaluate and integrate multi‑hypervisor and cloud platforms including VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, solution blueprints, competitive battle cards, and demo runbooks.
• Ensure strict adherence to corporate sales targets, technical accuracy standards, and regional data governance mandates.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional working experience in Presales Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Technical Consulting.
• Strong hands‑on operational mastery of enterprise data protection and backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, Cohesity, Rubrik, or Acronis (Mandatory).
• Deep technical knowledge of Backup & Disaster Recovery (DR), Cyber Resilience, Ransomware Recovery, and Immutable Storage architectures.
• Good conceptual understanding of enterprise hypervisors (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience working with IT distributors, technology resellers, or enterprise software vendors.
• Strong communication, presentation, solution design, and client‑facing stakeholder management skills.
