Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated practice manager to lead our team, on a full-time basis.

This is a true dual-role opportunity, combining leadership, administration and operational responsibilities with active veterinary nursing on the clinic floor.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced veterinary nurse who is ready to grow their leadership skills while continuing to provide exceptional patient care and mentoring within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Whilst experience is desired, it is not essential. If you're an experienced veterinary nurse with initiative, great communication skills and a passion for supporting others, we'd love to hear from you.

The role requires that you:

• Herd cats
Manage daily operations, staff rosters, workflow and clinic organisation (actual cats may also be involved).

• Lead and support the team
Be a positive and approachable leader who motivates, mentors and develops team members.

• Stay hands-on
Continue working alongside the team, providing high-quality veterinary nursing care and sharing your knowledge and experience.

• Deliver exceptional customer service
Build strong relationships with clients and support outstanding patient outcomes.

• Drive clinic performance
Monitor clinic goals, support financial performance and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the practice.

• Hold a recognised Veterinary Nursing qualification
With strong clinical nursing skills and confidence across all aspects of general practice nursing.

What you can expect:

• Purpose-built clinic with modern facilities and equipment (IDEXX pathology, digital radiography, etc), to allow for the best patient care.

• A supportive Head Veterinarian to work alongside and mentor you as you build confidence and thrive in your new leadership role.

• The ability to make a meaningful impact on both team culture and clinic performance.

• A workplace culture that values collaboration, growth and wellbeing.

• Competitive remuneration package with regular reviews.

• No after-hours, Sundays or Public Holidays.

• Ongoing leadership support from our Veterinary Operations team.

• Access to professional development and leadership training opportunities.

Some of the perks:

• Paid parental leave.

• Petstock Group Annual Conference attendance opportunities.

• Significant team member, family and pet discounts across the Petstock Group.

• Woolworths rewards and partnership benefits.

• Access to the Petstock Group Employee Assistance Program (health and wellbeing support).
