A platform engineer at Williams International designs, builds, automates, and secures on-premises and cloud infrastructure for jet-engine manufacturing operations. Day-to-day work centers on Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Argo CD), security hardening, and monitoring, bridging DevOps and IT infrastructure. 100% on-site in Pontiac, MI.

The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Platform Engineer to join our team. We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, and secure our on-premises and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD automation, cybersecurity best practices, and enterprise monitoring platforms. This role will be responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and highly available platform services while ensuring compliance with security standards. This person will bridge the gap between Dev Ops and IT Infrastructure, fostering a culture of collaboration, speed, and reliability to accelerate our software delivery processes.
This position is 100% on-site.
